First Snow of the winter

Tonight we had our first heavy snow fall of the winter. 1/11/2010 : 23.00

A little earlier than usual for us southerners ( Piddinghoe, Newhaven East Sussex.)
When I go out tommorow I will get a few more pictures

These picture was taken the next morning.
We measured the snow on our garden table it was seven inches deep.

Building Bobs Pond

Today i spent a day digging out and lining Bobs pond in Eastbourne Sussex with Kieth and Bob, had a great day doing it have now left him filling it up with water.

This is the pond before a bit more digging out and the sand, underlay and liner was added.

Seems to be a lot of talking going on here and not a lot of digging.

Jobbers Quake 3 Server

Hi all

Jobbers Quake 3 server is going to change the Mod that is being played from IU1.2Beta3 to RIU1.1Beta which is basically the same but with more options and better Player Stats you can download this Mod here under Quake 3 Mods Download RIU1.1Beta just unzip it and put into your  Q3 folder you will have to put a q3 config in this folder also unless you auto exec.
If this mod is not what we expected then we will change back to  IU1.2Beta3 which is also here under Quake 3 Mods Download
I am pleased to see a lot of nice players on the server, which are improving every week Mr.G / Grab has improved loads since i first met him in the summer, nice 1.
BGN will also be writing on this blog at times so if there is any thing you would like to be put on here just ask one of us and we will add it.
There are a lot of maps on the server i will put a list up for players to see them, if you would like any map to be put on server just ask BGN or my self and we will add it to the map list.
There is a map pak also on the download page for both Jobbers and Hottshots server so if you don't have them all please go here and download them, just unzip and add to your base q3 folder.

Any one with any problems either in game, Internet or computer we are here to help.
So please do not worry about asking  us, if we cant help we will try to find some one that can.

Before i go here are a few Basic online game Internet settings for Quake 3
First lower the in game console usauly the key under the esc key, then type beginning with the  forward slash  /

• rate 25000
• snaps 40  ( is normal for most but can be adjusted to your liking)
• cl_maxpackets 120 (this seems to be the best for most)

Corsica (Ajaccio), France Arrive at 10:00 AM and what a nice place this was.
Hot again well in the 30s nice blue sea loads of nice yachts to veiw as we were haveing breakfast.

We arrived at Naples at about 7am, we did not go ashore until we had had a nice breakfast and a few coffees.
It was another glorious day up in the 30s just right for another explore about.
